City Weekend Beijing Moves On

Shanghai edition remains unchanged

Today it is with great optimism that Ringier China announces that the November issue of City Weekend Beijing and Parents & Kids Beijing will be Ringier’s last. We have every hope that the print and online versions of these publications will continue far into the future with a close local partner we are currently in discussions with.

City Weekend Beijing has served as a go-to English-language resource for readers in this city since 1997, and Ringier is grateful for having had the chance to share 19 years of this great city with you.

The Shanghai editions of City Weekend and Parents & Kids will continue to run by Ringier as market-leading products, beginning with a completely revamped website coming later this month.

All other Ringier-owned properties in China will be unaffected by this move; including our entire English-language portfolio in Shanghai and our national Chinese-language in-flight magazine CAAC. Ringier remains firmly committed to its operations in China, with exciting plans in place for 2017 and beyond.
