[Yew Chung International School of Beijing](http://cityweekend.com.cn/beijing/listings/parents-and-kids/schools_k12/has/yew-chung-international-school-of-beijing/) welcomed a very special guest last Friday in conjunction with [Capital M’s](http://cityweekend.com.cn/beijing/listings/dining/european/has/capital-m/) Literary Festival.
Travelogue author [Jeff Fuchs](http://www.jefffuchs.com/) arrived to speak with the school's primary and upper school students on his experiences travelling along China’s ancient Tea Horse Road. The trade route contains vital insight to the country's rich and diverse cultural history, and is the subject of his recently published book **The Ancient Tea Horse Road**.
Students were captivated by his photos and stories, both real and imaginary, and were ready with insightful and astute questions for the intrepid explorer.
Keep an eye out for the students own travelogue submissions in upcoming issues of **City Weekend Parents & Kids**.
