QueerBeat's guest gay blogger Alain gives you the lowdown on all the sexy seamen and pink pirates who set sail at Gayographic's "Gay 80's Navy Party".

The Boat set sail last Friday night with well over a hundred homo revelers whose love for life, fun and parting is insatiable.

When I arrived around 11:30-ish, the party was already in full swing with gay butts swinging to and fro. Literally.

To ensure those who didn't show up in nautical attire, The Boat management gave away some free sailor's hats that just added to their charisma - seriously some of those guys really could pass as real sailors. Hot and delicious. Man, they deserve some spanking for being so naughty and wild.

I saw this guy who I liked but was surprised making out with this really skinny bitch who was as flamboyant as a feather boa.

Ok, fine. I'm flamboyant too, but with class and finesse. Hahahahaha... Whatever that means. Pardon me, but I'm still a bit tipsy as I write this.

The mango shake I had this morning didn't work and the KFC lunch is disgusting. I woke up and dragged myself to work - still haggard and shitty.

Hot sailor boys aside, what really added to the gay-filled air was the music.

Biatch, it was 80's like no other. I'm sorry, but the Friday 80's Night at Alfa is nothing but a trying hard copycat of what 80's party should be!

Seriously, nobody was left on their chair. Everybody was up for dancing and the camaraderie was akin to an after-Pride parade in Beijing (ah, will be ever have one? sigh But a boy can dream can't he?).

Despite some trouble mixing songs (maybe all those seamen were too distracting?), DJ Alvin has incredible taste for gay music. He rocked our queer pink socks off at the QUEER COMRADES "Rebirth Of Queer" party in April and hopefully will continue to get us all hot and bothered in Beijing for some time to come.

While I can't confirm for sure that he is gay (I was too busy dancing like a new recruit at his very first port), my gaydar says that it is a very strong possibility :)

The truth is: gay men dance. And they dance hard. But really, who doesn't?

And when they dance, the world turns into the happiest place to be.

Although some of the moves last night were not exactly 80's style, there was a helluva lot of flirty, sexy gyrations which delighted all.

After midnight, there was an abundance of couples and threesomes in a dancing orgy of fun and kinkiness.

No one, last night, could claim that he was the "only gay in the village." Even the straight friends I knew were pounding and sweating hard on the dance floor with all the gay guys. Now that's what I call Gay Power baby!

I stumbled home around 3:00am in the morning with a smile playing on my lips as if I just had done something naughty.

Well, to be honest.. I kinda really did do something a little 'naughty' but shhhhh.... should I give away all my secrets just yet?

I was told that seamen don't kiss and tell. They just report in every port. And that's exactly what most gay guys did last night. They were hopping from one guy to another.

Ooopppssss... I think just said it. Is that considered "kiss and tell?"

Spank me.

Please.

Hard.
