Dear Cathay Pacific: Thanks for Nothing

Cathay Pacific owes me money. Not much, maybe a couple kuai, but nonetheless I feel like some compensation is in order. After all I spent a good 15 minutes fruitlessly following up their latest "Supersaver" deal, a solid looking RMB4,090 from Beijing to London and RMB3,890 from Shanghai to London. Tack on taxes and you're talking about six and a half thousand. Well whaddya know. Every flight query returned the following good news "no flights available on selected dates." It turns out that the offer, which just came out yesterday for flights in April, is already sold out. Sold out in a day? Or never existed in the first place...
