Miss some of the talks at the Beijing International Literary Festival? Or want to hear them all over again? Well, we recorded each author's discussion and put it up on City Weekend. Click here for a list
We turned up the heat on the City Weekend website during the Beijing International Literary Festival. Sitting in the back of the Bookworm or tucked away in the kitchen next to the mixing board, furiously typing away and using our Macbook’s Photobooth application as a discreet camera, we reported on the 2008 Beijing International Literary Festival. The Bookworm was smart enough to record the talks and we were happy to have our own Steven Lee plugged in to tweak the sound. Talks ranged from the provocative to the informative, and we feel immensely more enriched having attended each one. We’d like to share the last week and weekend with our readers. Below is a chronological list of most talks so far. We’ll be putting up more as the week goes by. Click on any one talk to hear each session. Feel free to leave comments or contact us for questions. Enjoy!
