This month (December) the Beijing Book Club will be reading Li Cunxin's autobiography "Mao's Last Dancer." Suggested by one of our members at the last meetup in November (thanks Chase!) it has definitely been a fun read for me. As there were many schedule conflicts with the original choice of Thursday night, this month we are going to meet on Saturday the 22nd, 10am at The Bookworm.
If there are serious schedule conflicts, please comment below and we can try to come up with another date for next month. Furthermore, I'd like to know what the interest level is for folks out in Shunyi. If there are enough people interested, I'd be happy to organize a book club meet up at the BookMark or some other location (open to suggestions!). Please let me know :)
Until then... you can get a copy of Mao's Last Dancer at the Bookworm (if they are sold out, please leave a comment and I will see what I can do to get a copy to you!).
