THE GAMES
The Men’s Football Semi Finals will feature some amazing matches, the first of which at 18:00 will send either Nigeria or the upstart Belgians to the Olympic gold medal match for the first time ever. Track and Field programming includes plenty of exciting races, even without the injured Liu Xiang. You may also want to check out the Women’s Basketball Quarter Finals at 2:30pm. For more information on where non-ticket holders can hang out and cheer on the home team, check out City Weekend's Where to Watch the Games Guide.
ENTERTAINMENT
Enjoy a star-studded night of piano at the
National Center for the Performing Arts, featuring world-class pianists Lang Lang, Liu Shikun and Claude Frank. Indulge your inner (or outer) geek at Beijing's original Quiz Night at Schindlers. Or experience a bit of the Silk Road in the heart of Beijing at The Hutong, where you will learn to make the Uyghurs' famous hand-pulled noodles.
DINING
Finally, if you’re hungry after your busy day, head to Chef Too for excellent high-end American cuisine, Le Café Igosso for an intimate Italian meal or Li Qun for authentic Beijing duck.
