Founded in 1946, American shoe brand Minnetonka is well known for producing comfortable and light moccasin-style footwear for women and men. Compared to most footwear, which is made with shoe-last models, Minnetonka shoes are hand sewn to fit your feet better. For its first foray into China, Minnetonka has opened three stores: one in Solana and two in Joy City. Their classic design is the fringe boot, which made of soft suede and comes in five colors: black, brown, tan, dusty brown and grey. The boot’s neck ranges from 12 cm to 42 cm. The most popular model is their high-top back zip boot (¥1,249) adorned with one layer of fringe and rivet, but they also have a luxurious five layer fringe knee-high boot (¥2,189), which is perfect for winter. Their collection of men’s footwear is small, but high quality. They also have traditional cowboy hats and fringe handbags (¥966-1,460).
