Shanghai's world-class Metro (yep, despite the recent Line 8 delays) is set to expand to 400 km — giving London a little run for the money. And just to show that Shanghai's in Beijing Mode (Pre-Games), the city's also getting its hands warmed up for — that's right — tickets to the 2010 World Expo!

That's the headliner today in our beloved Wanbao. By the way, you're not going to see your name anywhere on the tickets — and you can buy the whole load if you're so inclined, because there are no set limits. Just grab them for as little as CNY 140 at any one of the city's 31 post offices.

Elsewhere in the Wanbao, we now have the 3rd "local" case of H1N1 — Patient 109 "made" Patient 134, so to speak. Owch. Your Beijingologist just went subterranean today. Let's hope he's not an H1N1 suspect anytime soon — or at all!

If you're looking for a direct flight to Lhasa, Tibet, try beginning July 10. We warn you, though: if you're a non-PRC Mainland citizen, you'll need to seek permission and, theoretically speaking, be in a group before you gain access to Tibet. Air China will fly using its Airbus A330 every day from 07:00 out of Beijing Airport. The flight takes "just" 3 hours and 50 minutes.

By the way — Green Dam? That's been delayed — we say Thank God!

Another relatively clear day tomorrow with sizzling temps — 22°C to 36°C and counting! Car plates trailing in 3 and 8 are off the roads inside the 5th Ring 07:00 - 20:00, by the way. Got it? Good stuff...
