The price of gas has — that's right, exploded. Here's the latest price list of The Stuff That Gets Your Car Mileage:

• RON #93: CNY 6.37 / liter (+ CNY 0.48; used to be CNY 5.89)

• RON #97: CNY 6.78 / liter (+ CNY 0.51; used to be CNY 6.27)

• RON #98: CNY 7.33 / liter (holy —; + CNY 0.51; used to be CNY 6.82)

And that's CNY 1.80 more than US prices. Yep, it's for the economy.

Also a look at the buses — the next mass adjustment happens July 8, 2009. We'll see 2 less routes and 7 adjusted routes, as well as 4 new routes.

• Gone: Routes 732 and 743

• Adjusted: Routes 8, 308, 361, 384, 430 and 728

• Service Extended: Route 901 (now goes further into Yanshan / Yanhua in the southwest)

• All-New: Routes 520 (Malianfang East Road — Tiantongxiyuan North), 561 (Xizhihe — Longtanhu), 562 (Central Party School North Gate — Xizhimen South), and 665 (Luhaiyuan Community — South Square, Beijing South Railway Station)
