The horrible tragedy that has befallen Sichuan, as well as areas next to the area, dominates the headlines 87 days before the Games. Virtually no mention of the flame in Quanzhou, Xiamen. No longer in a festive mood, the tremors dominated much of the discussion around the nation.

• Hu Jintao: All-round efforts must be made at recovery efforts.

• Wen Jiabao: All roads to the disaster areas must be cleared up before midnight.

• Beijing quake: Sichuan rocked Beijing; no separate quake "just" from Tongzhou. (In other words, just one quake, not two -- not "one from Sichuan, one from Tongzhou.)

The camera will instantly detected vehicle plates which have been altered, or cars that have not gone in for the annual check, as well as cars that have been de-registered or are supposed to have been dumped.
