How come that you can spend all night batting your eyelashes and pouting at a guy that you fancy and he doesn’t have a clue that you’re interested in him, and then other times all you have to do is say “hi” to a guy and he’s leaning in for a kiss and shuffling you off to his apartment? Where is the line between being completely obvious and far too subtle when you want to bag the one you’ve got your eye on? Whether you’re dining in Yoshinoya or having class Yogi yoga and feeling similarly desperate to let someone know you are interested in doing more than sitting beside them, there is the real international language that we all need to become fluent in; body language. As soon as you can read what guys and girls are ‘telling’ you with their bods, the sooner you can stop obsessing over whether they feel the same way or not!

“She likes you…Yeah yeah yeah!”
Head – If she tilts her head to the side and is constantly flicking or playing with her hair, she’s definitely interested. Also when she glances over her shoulder every so often and tries to look cute, she’s trying to show you that she’s looking for a guy to take care of her.

Mouth – Licking her lips for seemingly no reason means that she’s probably thinking about what it would be like to kiss you!

Legs – If she gently touches your knees with her knees, she’s showing you that she’s comfortable with you being in her personal space.

Voice – If she speaks slowly and with a deep voice, she’s trying to engage you in conversation and keep your focus. If she speaks fast and doesn’t make eye contact when she talking, she’s already thinking about other things and is not really interested in keeping the conversation going. Get the hint!

“The boy is…yours.”
Fingers – He behaves all gentlemanly and protective when you’re in a crowd of people. He gently touches your lower back, opens doors for you and takes your hand when you’re walking down steps.

Legs – Guys tend to sit with their legs wide open when they’re trying to seduce a girl. Showing off the ‘crown jewels’ to the object of his affection is the animal in him ‘pea cocking’.

Eyes – Yes, this one is obvious, but for those of you who weren’t quite sure, when a man gives the girl the ‘once over’ by stepping back and taking a good look at her from head to toe (like he’s looking at a sports cars) he’s pretty much yours.

Face – When a guy is talking to you and he keeps rubbing below his eyes and touching his face, he’s feeling a bit nervous and self-conscious in your presence. Awww.
