March Madness: Day Three Predictions
Well, we got a few more upsets on the second day with the 4 and 5 seeds all falling. Today also saw the best individual performance of the tournament from Davidson's Stephen Curry who scored 40 points in a win over Gonzaga (Honestly, it is amazing that Curry was not more heavily recruited... He is a great player and his father is former NBA star Del Curry. How did people miss him?)
Yesterday, I managed to win the prediction pool with a disgraceful 10 out of 16 correct picks. In terms of percentage, Elyse and Rachel were both 100% in their picks of UNC and Miami... However, because Elyse is a UNC fan, Rachel is declared the winner.
We have 8 games tomorrow:
Kansas State v. Wisconsin
UNLV v. Kansas
WVU v. Duke
Purdue v. Xavier
Texas A&M v. UCLA
Notre Dame v Washington State
Marquette v. Stanford
Michigan State v. Pittsburgh
I am predicting Wisconsin, Kansas, Duke, Xavier, UCLA, Washington State, Marquette, and Pittsburgh. The upset others are predicting is West Virginia over Duke. Know this, though. If that does come about, the terrorists win.
