A week with no Kro's Nest . . .
The Kro's Nest at Gongti (along with other Gongti venues Mix, Vics, and Outback Steakhouse) is closed from April 14th to 21st due to security for the Brazil-Ghana Women's football match, according to TBJ.
Alas，this means the cancellation of planned events including Kro's Comedy Jam, formerly scheduled for April 17th. We'll be sitting at home, watching xiang hua and crying into our microwave pizzas until the Kro's reopens.

This also means that Kro's, Mix and Vics will be closed for a month during the Olympics. Which puts a dent in my plan to simultaneously drink RMB80 Long Island Ice Teas and dance to bad 50 Cent remixes while simultaneously picking up college-aged study abroad students and watching the Brazil vs. Italy match on August 15.
