Knitting is a great way for kids to improve their dexterity and concentration. It’s also exceptionally rewarding as kids get to model their hard work afterwards. To get started, check out Beyond Knitting, an online shop selling everything from double-pointed needles to yak yarn to patterns. Start small by creating blankets and scarves first. Then, move on to more complicated apparel. CW Tip: Even our furry friends could use a sweater. Search “penguin sweaters” in Google for proof.
