February 14 is coming, which means its time break out the pink and red, and get to making some fun Valentine's-themed crafts with your children. Here are our top three picks, courtesy of Parenting Magazine and Kaboose.
Heart Crayons Pick up some heart-shaped silicone baking molds from Pantry Magic and them fill them with small bits of crayon. Pop them in the oven for a few minutes until the crayon's melt. Then, set them aside to cool before popping them out.
Candy Rings Take a few pipe cleaners and then cut and twist them to fit around small fingers. Use a craft or Elmer's glue to adhere a piece of wrapped candy onto the cleaners and then set aside to dry. Afterwards, hand them out to the girls to wear.
Celery Rose Stamps Purchase a celery stalk from your neighborhood grocery store. Cut the celery about three inches up from the root. Place the celery sticks in the fridge to consume later. Next, dip the remaining bottom section of the celery in paint and then stamp it across paper.
