The answer to this is obvious, but what I want to know is why does it have to be AM? My son spends his days crawling around the house, visiting mates, eating and sleeping all without a hint of tooth pain, but get him anywhere near his cot in the middle of the night and its like a scene from the exorcist. Dealing with him with a sleep deprived brain and a strong magnetic pull back to my own bed I conclude that he is just hamming it up. It’s a bit like a footballer that takes a dive then has to make it look convincing by writhing around on the floor. It cannot hurt that much, can it. Actually, in the cold light of day I realise that during the night with nothing to distract him the pain is more intense and that he needs a bit of pain control and some TLC. Does anyone have any good tips for dealing with tooth pain in the night?
