According to China Film Group, This Is It is the foreign import which was approved at last this year, not according to the premiere date.

Ahh...
Is there a site or anything to track foreign film approvals and releases?
Since there's a cap on the number of foreign flicks, I always flinch when I see a movie like KNOWING get a release here, since it directly decreases the odds of a decent movie hitting theaters...

As much as I know, there is still not an English web site available to check the yearly imported movie schedule, and China Film Group had to make a balance between the quality of film and money.

Actually, "This Is It" opened across the globe, including here, on 10/28.
And I'm confused by the "last foreign import of the year" line... I know there's a cap on foreign films that get theatrical release, but I can think of at least three more ("Knowing," opening 10/30 "District 9," opening 11/27, and "2012," which opens 11/11). What did you mean by that?
