WAB's High School Badminton Team claimed the Team Championship at last weekend's ACAMIS tournament in Suzhou. WAB was one of the many international schools competing in this competition, which took place April 10 - 13 and included 16 teams representing 10 different schools from around China.

After winning three out of 4 event titles at the ISAC Badminton tournament last month, WAB's badminton team set their sights on winning ACAMIS for the first time. Over the last 3 years since ACAMIS Badminton was started, the WAB team has moved up in their placing from 6th, to 3rd and to 2nd, before claiming the 1st place title in 2008.

Along with the Team Championship, the WAB teams were also awarded the Team Sportsmanship Award, as voted by the coaches and players in the tournament.

Congratulations to all participating players, coaches and fans!
