Just a quick one to start off your week. This probably fits the definition of Sports Shorts, as opposed to my previous blog posts, so most of you will probably be happy that I’m not flapping my yapper so much. I’ll be sure to give you your full dose of sports goodness by Saturday so you won’t miss anything going on next weekend and beyond. I would however, like to take this time to focus on the Beijing Playoff Fantasy Football League that City Weekend and many of the best sports bars around town have thankfully decided to sponsor. All proceeds will go to charity, and sponsors so far include Tim’s Texas BBQ, Luga’s Villa, the new Stumble Inn and All-Star. The first place winner will receive gift vouchers from worth a total of RMB1500. However, we’re still looking to add more loot to the pot in the form of anything we can get our hands on. The rules are here and we will have the scoring system up soon. One more thing: ya'll better bring your game faces because I'm entering myself several times. Theoretically you could win all three voucher packs if you take the top three spots and I have no qualms about doing just that. Plus, it's for a really good cause as all proceeds contribute to improving and expanding CAI's Arts and Sports programs at migrant schools.
