After enduring one of the most brutal Beijing winters in recent history, Spring has finally sprung. But the grand reentries aren't limited to mother nature's realm, as some of Beijing's best night spots emerge from hibernation this weekend.
In particular, ChinaDoll 3.3, a favorite of the Beijing scene since the Olympics, reopens this Friday, April 24th, kicking things off with free Piper Champagne and light bites from 8-10PM while one of Taiwan's biggest DJs, DJ Stone, works the ones and twos. General Manager Yang Yang promises "an amazing night!"
The club, which closed in January, underwent a number of renovations mainly in the name of downsizing to a more intimate venue. While the dancefloor may be diminished, management still promises a decked out VIP room.
Also reopening after a change in management is Song Music Bar & Kitchen. One of my favorite venues architecturally speaking, it remains to be seen if the club can overcome the problem of unpredictable attendance levels the previous owners faced.
