FRIDAY

We are not yet out of the Chinese New Year woods, friends, and we're still waiting for those rock and roll slackers to get back from holidays (joking, of course, they work harder than most). But there's plenty of stuff going on for those who like to dance. This Friday, IN-OUT at Lantern hosts their good friend X.L.F. on the decks with his sound which might defy classification but is always a good time. Over at Haze, the Wasabi Sound kids are throwing the first of a new series of parties called Bright Side. Their first night puts all the founders on the decks and should mean a night of house you can dance to all night.

SATURDAY

Aside from the obligatory Bob Marley Day shows, Saturday is jam-packed with parties as well. First up, there's the musical smorgasboard that is Dim Sum Disco at Haze, featuring DJ/salon owner Suiki. Lantern is hosting Chinese EDM artist B6, fresh off a world tour, who's celebrating his newest EP release, Bomb in the Shelter. For something a little more underground, the first ever Swag Sound will be in full swing at School Bar, jam-packed with local talent from the weekly BJDJ meet-ups.

SUNDAY/MONDAY

Sunday night is a bust this week, but that's alright, because the forecast is a lot of late starts and sick days being called in on Monday morning from the local sports bar. If you're not American, you probably won't care, but there's just something about pounding beers at 7am and watching burly men fight over a ball.
