This weekend, Beijingers are coming together to contribute what they can to earthquake victims in Sichuan. Tonight, Acupuncture Records is working with Yin Bar for a Sichuan Earthquake Charity event, and more than 20 DJs will throw next Wednesday at Beats For Life. Whether or not you can make it to the charity events happening across the city, you can contribute at Red Cross or Mercy Corps.

China's transvestite celeb, Jin Xing, leads the Shanghai Tango contemporary dance performance at Poly Theater. SATURDAY
Space disco producer Moby Dictator performs at the international concert series, Night On Earth at Tango. The Syndicate takes its drum 'n' bass up against BaiCai's techno in Syndicate Vs. Baicai. DJ Ravin, the guy behind the Buddha Bar series, brings the chillest chill in chill out to Zeta. The Rynostock Music Festival arrives at The Pomegranate. And the New Photon Trio plays at the OT Lounge, which is quickly becoming a hot spot of jazz in Beijing.

SUNDAY
Grammy-winning jazz trumpeter Chris Botti performs in Beijing for the first time. Every form of German music, from Berlin pop to medieval revival takes its turn on the Star Live stage for German Music Night. Those not looking for German culture, might enjoy a taste of Japanese culture at Yugong Yishan's Pecha Kucha night. Finally, the Symphony Orchestra of Chopin Conservatory performs at the Poly Theater.
