Another weekend is upon us, but if you haven't yet made plans, it's not too late: CW is here with a rundown of this weekend's best shows, parties and ultimate frisbee tournaments.
Friday
Start off the weekend by building good karma. D-22 is hosting the Ian Sherman Benefit Concert, at which Beijing's best indie bands (from Carsick Cars to Ourselves Beside Me) will be performing to raise money for Mr. Sherman's cancer treatment. Meanwhile in Ritan Park, Panjir performs an open-air set at The Stone Boat. Song Music Bar and Kitchen throws another Houseduction party. The OT Lounge brings jazz outfit Accents to the stage. And, Acupuncture and DJ @llen team up for From Taiwan With Love at Block 8.
Saturday
Loco Dice threw one of the most talked about house music sets of last year, and he finally returns
to Beijing for Tango's fifth anniversary party with BaiCai's stable of DJs opening the show. In Bed With Space returns to Block 8, marking the first big party of 2008 to make use of Block 8's roof deck, The Beach. Re-TROS, Ziyo and SUBS play 2 Kolegas. Beijing's hip-hop MCs and DJs bring the [Section 6](http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/beijing/events/21529/ party back to Yugong Yishan. And, the Chinese Nationals Ultimate Frisbee Tournament hits Beijing.
Sunday
Ladies should start off the day with the Ladies' Rooftop Brunch at Yin Bar, overlooking the Forbidden City. Sunday night, the Quattrology Jazz Quartet plays East Shore Live, and Beijing rockers Phonograph play a benefit show for the XinXin Migrant Scholarship Fund.
