FRIDAY
Beijing’s legendary DJs Dio and Mickey Zhang spin the crowd into a frenzy in their monthly MORSE party at White Rabbit. Gia Wang, the former frontwoman of Hang On The Box, brings out her spanking new all-grrrl band, Girl Kill Girl, for a night of sweeter-than-sweet, post punk with Guaili and Candy Monster at MAO Live House. And Club P, after several delays, finally opens their for-the-Olympic-season-only VIP club in the Tango building with DJs Patrick Yu, Chozie and more.

SATURDAY
The Riviera Pool Party returns, giving the city's beautiful people an excuse to wear their hottest swimwear while sipping Champagne. Long Shen Dao plays reggae Beijing-style with the Upstepper selectors, Steve Barker (BBC), Dan, Mael, and others, at 2 Kolegas. The documentary Boomtown Beijing gets a special screening at Salud. Xia Jia, one of the defining voices of Beijing’s jazz scene, brings his trio to OT Lounge. And, Indie rocker-photographer-blogger Joy Island makes her debut at Room 101.

SUNDAY
It's Men's Day this Sunday at the seen-and-be-seen Lan Club, where anyone who wears a tie will receive a free "surprise drink." SambAsia brings um pouco of Brazil comes to Beijing with SambAsia. And, Nanjing psychedelics Frozen Street take to the stage of Yugong Yishan with art-rockers Guodong.
