Club Bud may be a hundred meters south of the Holland Heineken House, but it is light years better. It feels about 25 years younger, first of all, second the Budweiser and Corona are free, and third it is a majority Chinese crowd. Now I can add a fourth: O2 culture (the guys behind the Yen parties) are doing the DJs there, so no surprise that the music was pretty hot. And since it was also co-sponsored by MTV, no surprise that the shuai ge's and meinv's were also pretty hot. Of the three main party rooms, the pool area is the best. Especially when girls jump/get thrown in which happened frequently. There are cabanas and chaise lounges and big screen TVs. There were Hong Kong starlets. I saw a bunch of people I knew, and I could communicate with each one of them. Club Bud is the place to be this year. It's exclusive, so you have to know someone to get in.
