Kerri Chandler Is BACK this Thursday at ChinaDoll
The opening of ChinaDoll's Wonka-esque funhouse of art, music and general sexiness last Thursday was well attended. "We had 1500 to 1800 guests come," the club's creative director Ai Wan tells us.
But when the following day NYC house DJ Kerri Chandler didn't show due to visa problems, the Sanlitun rumor mills went into overdrive. Needless to say, most weren't even close to true. And, now that the dust has settled, ChinaDoll has some good news to share:
DJ Kerri Chandler will play this Thursday night at ChinaDoll
That's right: The soul-house superhero will spin at ChinaDoll for just RMB100 at 10pm. Best yet: The first 100 at the door get in free. Hope to see you there.

I spoke to the Marketing Director and she herself told me that the club has a capacity of 700 people and they had met it already .... How was there 1500 - 1800 guests .... this is practical impossible that is the kind of volume that Mix's and Vic's get on Gongti and the parking lot was not even packed ... thats ambigious facts ... i was there and no bottles were being served ... there was no where to dance cause there were empty tables overtaking there dancefloor and i could not hear the music ... whats going on and there is actually two elevators to the place and they only opened one ... is that a hazard??? this was just opening night ... overall the actual experience was nothing like they sold it to be ... hedonism was unknown ... the girls has no expression let alone any sexual expression .. the lighting was horrible ... everyone was bored ... the dj was dry ... like sandpaper .. it was rough to deal with .. it was beyond disappointment .. i had to get my sexy arse out of there fast ....

i was there for the kerri chandler event and i have say it rocks~i think the reason why they didnt turn the music up loud on the grand opening day was becoz they didnt really wanna open the club area that day. and talking about their elevators,haha,if u r some kinda vip,u can definetely take the one at the back. i went through with my vip friend form the back entrance,and it cool. maybe they count all the guests together includes their bar lounge area, so maybe it's 1800. and i have to say,all the china dolls,they r hot!~~

Not to throw stones, but most of the people I talked to were underwhelmed by the opening party. Anybody else have any experience to share?
