The Acupuncture guys could fill the Merlin Champagne Gardens complex in Shunyi with partiers, they have that much traction in the local party scene. Everyone was there, Ai Wan (former China Doll impresario) was on the dance floor and later it turned out that even Ben Mono had made an appearance prior to his gig at The Bank the following night. Even Tom and Mickey from White Rabbit showed up around 3, prompting me to rethink that plan to hit WR on the way home. The only people who didn't show was the house band from VIVI across the street which was also opening that night. Maybe they should have hired Meow Wong to do their publicity.
