OLYMPIC WATCH: Celebrities Must Eat Too!

Beijing has been inundated with famous people--and it turns out they also like to eat and drink. Imagine that!

So far, I've heard that the Prince of Monaco, Prince Albert, dined with his delegation at Med at Block 8 on Thursday, after which Block 8 GM Sebastien Noat brought him to Bling's Grand Opening.

For sports fans, turns out Argentinian Spurs player, Emanuel Ginobili, and the Rockets' Luis Scala were at The Stone Boat on Thursday night.

The buzz at Holland's Heineken House (based at the Agricultural Exhibition Center) on Saturday night was that International Olympic Committee (IOC) member Prince Willem-Alexander from the Netherlands was walking around, taking photos and greeting guests.

I was supposed to see Roger Federer play at 19:00 last night, but the torrential rain washed us out. My tickets don't permit me to attend the rescheduled match, starting this afternoon in about an hour (14:30). Instead, ticket-holders for today's original match woke to the lucky surprise that they would get to see the crown prince of tennis playing. Grrr.

Keep an eye out for more famous faces and names these next few days...
