A walk in an old hutong that makes you think about the past and dream about the future. A first gaze toward the untouchable Great Wall that gives you a sense of deja vu. The silence of Jietai temple. Skating on the frozen Houhai lakes. A hot pot for two on a cold night. A picnic on the deserted Kangxi grasslands. No question: Beijing.
Shanghai
Shanghai is newer, exciting, vibrant and inspiring. I immediately think of sitting in Jade on 36 looking out at the river and beautiful city lights while surrounded by relaxing music and enjoying the overall experience with a very special person. Now that’s romantic and it's only in Shanghai.
