I like stage art. And I especially like those experimental performances from which you learn to go beyond your limit and to appreciate a different aesthetic. Among all the kinds of stage art forms, dance is my favorite. For me, nothing can give as much emotion as a good dance performance. You see the dancers moving on the stage, you feel their breath, you're seized by their emotion and fascinated by the wonderful music and those living images. You sometimes wonder if you are living in your illusions. Peony Pavilion has been written as a modern dance and will premiere on Valentine’s Day. I know the Peony Pavilion story very well and I loved its Kunqu version. I'm now really very curious about this new Peony Pavilion with its combination of dance, theater and multimedia art. It should be a great show if these different art forms can be in harmony in the performance. I actually think that it'll be a beautiful idea to go see a romantic performance before I have a tête-à-tête dinner with my husband on Valentine’s evening.
