Despite billing itself as a “lingerie pub,” manageress (and owner) Qiqi assures that it’s not “that” kind of place. You’d be excused for thinking otherwise what with its purple and pink lighting scheme reminiscent of a seedy massage parlor. In all innocence, it’s actually a cute little bar carved out of the former Emo+ with nooks decked out like Lolita’s bedroom—all diaphanous curtains and fuzzy pink trim.

The highlight of the place is the semi- private room on the second level with a mirrored ceiling so low you can’t but sprawl on the rugs and pillows spread on the floor and debate the merits of the framed pieces of lingerie on the wall (there are samples available for purchase). The surprisingly spacious rooftop deck is great if things get a little too hot down below. There may not be Victoria Secret models serving martinis, but Qiqi plans on throwing regular “fashion show parties” in the near future. We can’t wait.
