Oh My Blog!

With the aim of providing an online venue for news, gossip, and interaction, City Weekend launched its very first blog and online forum in early November. In Beijing, a team of editors and bloggers are working together to bring you four blogs with discussion forums. Thus far Rachel Simhon’s post “Dancefloor Indiscretions” on Beijing’s DJ scene has garnered the most page views. Check out “Blog Forum” at www.cityweekend.com.cn/beijing for the latest on nightlife, useful news and other musings on our beloved city.

Word on the street is that 5:19 owner David McCullough may be opening a new place in the Fulicheng area, with the hopes of establishing a local watering-hole in a residential district bereft of nightlife.
