City Weekend News
Oh My Blog!
With the aim of providing an online venue for news, gossip, and interaction, City Weekend launched its very first blog and online forum in early November. In Beijing, a team of editors and bloggers are working together to bring you four blogs with discussion forums. Thus far Rachel Simhon’s post “Dancefloor Indiscretions” on Beijing’s DJ scene has garnered the most page views. Check out “Blog Forum” at www.cityweekend.com.cn/beijing for the latest on nightlife, useful news and other musings on our beloved city.

Tickets for the HK Rugby 7s go on sale Saturday morning, December 8. According to tradition, rugby fans should head down to the HK Stadium at 6pm on Friday to queue up to gain entry. If you can’t make it down to HK yourself, be sure you have a friend to camp out for you or you might miss Asia’s biggest rugby event of the year.

Fools for Fulicheng
Good news for Fulicheng residents, as well as for 5:19 Bar and Grill fans who were crushed this fall when the Super Bar Street establishment closed its doors. Word on the street is that 5:19 owner David McCullough may be opening a new place in the Fulicheng area, with the hopes of establishing a local watering-hole in a residential district bereft of nightlife.
