1 The Signature Course
Pine Valley
Called the most exclusive golf course in China, the Jack Nicklaus designed Pine Valley is a lesson in opulence, providing everything from luxury and scenic beauty, facing Badaling and surrounding mountains, to challenging golf. Truly a golfer's dream spot in Beijing, those who could afford to play the course would not be disappointed. If you know a member, maybe they'll treat you one day. (Changping 60km from city centre 8979-6888)
2 The Quick and Cheap Course
Chaoyang Kosaido Golf Club
Keeping it cheap and quick is what Kosaido Golf Club is all about. Having only nine holes is no bother when you consider this course's unbelievably close proximity to Beijing's city centre and nice driving range. Those living in central Beijing can't always pay a fortune for green fees and spend hours driving to golf courses every weekend, hence the godsend that is Kosaido. (Near Pacific Century Plaza 6501-8584)
3 The Scenic Course
Beijing International Golf Club Ming Tombs
Running along the Ming Tomb Reservoir, this is a course home to a multitude of water challenges and natural beauty. This is Beijing's oldest, and therefore one of its most mature and developed courses, always worth a visit with its not-too-extravagant green fees. (Changping 6076-2288)
4 The Conveniently Located Course
Huatang International Golf Club
Beijing's most convenient location for 18 holes of international standard golf, Huatang has much to offer with golf schooling options, the course, a hotel, the club, and much more. This is a great option if you are looking for a full day of golf while in a convenient location, about a thirty minute drive from China World in the CBD. (Yanjiao East Beijing 6519-8888)
5 The Mini Course
Ritan Mini
Located in the Mini-Golf Garden in Ritan Park, this mini course is simple and not much to look at but is a great spot for a short family outing or a cheesy date. When you get sick of the cheesiness, take a stroll through the park. (Ritan Park)
