My favorite place in Beijing is Bellagio (Taiwanese). The food is very simple but also very good. And compared with normal Beijing food it looks very healthy and not greasy at all. I like the kung pao shrimp, and they have a delicious mango dessert. The atmosphere is very nice too. It’s stylish without being too trendy or expensive. Purple Haze (Thai) is also good. I basically just go for the atmosphere. The food is relatively good, but of course nothing can compare to Thai food in Thailand. I think that Purple Haze feels more like a lounge than a restaurant, so it makes a good place to meet friends.
