Ruth: German/English Teacher

I am German, but my favorite restaurant is actually Indian. It’s called The Shangari and it’s by Dongzhimen. Of course, they have great food, but I also like the belly dancing, I think it's authentic. And they have waiters from India, which is a good sign. I don’t really like any of the German restaurants in Beijing. The food that reminds me of home the most might be Peter Pan. It’s Italian, I know, but the food is simple and good, like what we have at home. And after all, we are in China. Compared to that, Germany and Italy aren’t really so far apart.
