Charming and notorious, the world famous DJ Chozie doesn't just wear bling, he is infected with it. Judging from the splendid baubles dangling from his neck, belt, every finger, both ears and even his top left tooth, if he were to melt it all down he would have enough to put his first child through college. Chozie has a designer in Taiwan named Saint who makes sure he is decked with the latest in faux-diamond glory, like his blinged-out turntable belt-buckle and equally decadent diamond-studded headphones. His hat, which is custom made in Japan, is also bedazzled. If you are not as fortunate to be able to travel the world getting hats and bling made for you, you can find a decent selection of caps at Lids in Xidan and something shiny on the third floor in Xidan’s Hua Wei Mall, an entire floor dedicated to off-the-hook faux jewels. Equally important to his superstar style are the kicks. Chozie finds 3.3 to be just the place for snazzy sneaks. But what really makes the outfit are the designer jeans that scream “I wore these at my last gig and throngs of girls tried to claw them off of me.” To get your own pair of panty-dropping duds, try Comme des Garcons or Zara.
