The first thing that catches your eye about Natasha is the lion’s mane of hair that surrounds her head like an orange halo. The way it bounces and moves all on its own is mesmerizing. Natasha’s cute, casual style is fueled by a wardrobe of colorful pieces from around the world. Although she hails from fashion-conscious Russia, it is the city of Beijing where she finds her inspiration. “Walking around the city, cooking, watching good movies and chatting with friends” are favorite pastimes that influence her style. “I have a very casual approach to fashion … When I like something, I wear it. I’m very emotional, so maybe my style is a reflection of my personality.” You won’t find Natasha haggling at the mega-markets like Yashow, because the constant bargaining gives her a headache and puts her in a bad mood. You are more likely find her in H&M, Mango, Steve Madden, Zara and Esprit. However, she is not super particular on the brands she wears and would choose a nameless vintage piece over something expensive and trendy. “I’m a ‘fashionista’ not a ‘brandista.’ I don’t really care what the label says. If I like it, I’ll wear it,” she says. So what does this fashionista see for fall fashion? “Color. Lots of bright color. Think of the little details too, like socks, nail polish, UGG boots and scarves.” Judging from her fire engine red hair and electric green eyes, it seems like Natasha already has the details taken care of.
