FIND OF THE WEEK: 66 North (Norwegian)
Fishy Find
66 North has long featured imported salmon and reindeer steaks, but it was only in June that they started serving halibut, one of Norway’s most prized fish. Their broiled Norwegian halibut filet (¥138) is two pieces of white, flakey fish covered in a mild dill sauce and served on a bed of mashed potatoes. Delicious carrots and asparagus with a generous serving of mussel sauce and cauliflower puree compliment the delicate fish. We recommend starting your meal with the Norwegian smoked salmon salad (¥66), an amazing combination of gorgeously flavored smoked salmon, tender asparagus and a rich cream. For the ultimate Scandanavian experience, 66 North not only imports fantastic seafood from Norway, but they serve it up in a wooden interior to make you feel you’re dining inside a spacious log cabin. All that’s missing are the views of fjords out the window.
