Buzz is based on many factors; most have to do with how much activity the item has caused on the site. Here are some easy tips to get Buzz higher:

• Most importantly, make your content as interesting as you can so others do the same

My Event is the jazz performance every weekend night at East Shore Live Jazz Cafe, a jazz bar near Houhai that was opened by the saxophone player from Cui Jian’s band. Cui Jian is China’s most famous rock musician. At first I was just interested in the place because the owner was the guy from his rock band, but then after I listened to the music I started to really like it. Now I try to go as much as I can. Every weekend, it is basically the same band, but at least one new person usually joins them. I like how you can really hear the difference that the new musicians make.
