A Loving Community

How did you find BICF? How long have you been involved?
When I find myself in another country, I often look for an English-speaking church to meet people, but also to connect with something that is familiar and meaningful to me. I introduced my family to BICF in January 2007, when we moved to Beijing.
How does BICF make it possible for you and your family to live and love living in BJ?
Christianity is more about a relationship with a living God than it is about following rules. This relationship extends to other people in the church, and BICF demonstrates that extremely well, in people showing honest interest and concern in each other, and wanting to serve each other.
What’s your favorite moment with BICF?
When the many different groups meet together in the big auditorium, and we get to see how the African, Indonesian, Japanese, Chinese, and other groups worship. We have this image of Heaven, where people from all cultures and languages are together and unified in purpose and belief.
