Dogs tell you their favorite pet-friendly venues in and out of the city.
Cool Baby Dog Theme Park
Located in Chaoyang Park, this home away from home claims to be the largest doggy theme park in Asia. Filled with plastic pylons, hoops and swimming areas, it's a great place to let loose without having to worry about running into (and breaking!) furniture. Best of all, owners can sit down, relax and sip on a hot mug of coffee instead having to chase after us pets-and fail.
Dog Park
This great place is located on the west part of Riverside Park near Yosemite Villas in Shunyi. It features grass lighting and park benches for the owners and special toilets for us dogs. The only downside is that dogs must remain on a leash and be accompanied by an adult. Well, at least it makes for some good bonding time!
Goose & Duck Ranch
This is an exciting place for families since there are a ton of fabulous outdoor activities for the kids to enjoy such as archery, go-karting and even horseback riding. Of course the best part is that family pets are just as welcome and can even go as far as staying in the cabins with their owners. Tel: 6538-1691

Beijing Playhouse Theater Camp for Kids is full of fun activities like acting, dancing, singing and performing a show-all in one week! The first time, I performed "A Midsummer Night's Dream" where I was a fairy. Then, I performed "A Christmas Carol" where I played Topper and the Turkey Child. What I love about the theater camp is that I get to play and there are two snacks and one healthy lunch. I like it when we start acting and it's my scene because I like to have fun acting. My favourite part of the whole experience is performing a show with makeup, hairdos and costumes. One thing I like to do is help out with the costumes and try them on. To me, I think it's really fun and I do it with my friends.

I know I'm supposed to talk about Beijing but since the summer holidays are coming up, I think that everyone should go to Disneyland! I really, really like the Disneyland in Hong Kong. I went there with my grandma and took a fun picture with Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse. I also saw a Princess Castle and Mickey's castle and played on the merry-go-round, flew on Dumbo and even made friends with Mulan, Winnie-the-Pooh bear and Goofy. I saw a cool 3-D movie, neat shows and a giant parade with a lot of big, pretty floats. I played all day long. I can't wait to go to Disneyland again!
