KinStar has a wide variety of after school dance classes, including traditional Chinese dance and ballet. During Chinese dance lessons, students are able to learn a number of traditional Chinese minority dances. They learn to appreciate the different techniques and the unique music that accompany each dance. Kinstar has also invited a professional ballet instructor to teach its ballet classes. Once the students have warmed up, they learn basic dance steps that they will later use in dance sequences that are performed in front of the entire school. All these dances are fun and are a great form of exercise.

To ensure that every child finds a program to suit their needs, Beanstalk features regular dance classes such as Basic Skills Training, a combination of Chinese classical dance and ballet, and Dance Appreciation, where children are encouraged to learn different styles of dance from all over the world. Ivy Kids provides afterschool programs for Ivy Academy and Bilingual Schools and are open to the public. The dance program consists of creative movement and ballet classes with experienced teachers leading children in rhythm and movement. Children explore ways to physically express animals, feelings, musical styles and more. The ballet class provides a technical exploration of technique and children are encouraged to share what they learn and experience being on stage in a final performance. At Telford, every dance class provides dancers with strong, classical techniques, placing emphasis on artistry, musicality and coordination. In Introduction to Dance, children understand the basics of taking a dance class while developing the ability to express themselves physically. Instruction focuses on helping young ones learn to work with other children, follow directions and use essential dance terms. The goal is to foster creativity, freedom of movement and a love for dance. At the end of the year, students are able to memorize simple exercises and sequences and make a start of musical interpretation.
