a personal tour guide in Beijing
Congratulations, I passed my Beijing tour guide exams today! So from now on I will be your officially licensed tour guide very soon. Do you find it easy to trust people when you arrive in a new place? I know I didn't when I was travelling away from home. I was born in a remote middle China village surrounded by hills. When I was a little girl I dreamed about travelling to another world. I didn't finish my high school education, took some tough jobs and travelled around China. Nanjing, Hangzhou and Beijing are my favourite cities and where I started learning again to improve my education. I came to Beijing in 2001 and have worked very hard to become an experienced tour guide. Last month I won a prize in a Taichi competition and this has encouraged me to continue studying our traditional culture in my spare time. Last week I worked as a personal assistant for a client making plans for the Olympic Games, including booking of hotels.

I was fortunate to find this lady - charming, reliable, confident and competent. She made a big difference as interpreter and personal assistant for me recently. Just brilliant, so highly recommended!

At last, two crazy months work are finished, and I have time to have a cup of tea now.
