Soong May-ling, Chiang Kai-shek's laopo, died in 2003 at the ripe age of 105. In those 105 years, the most prominent of the Soong Sisters graduated from Wellesley College, won America and China's hearts, lost both their hearts, and witnessed more bloodshed than Mel Gibson will ever dream of.
