Ms Keane is a senior training and coaching executive, drawing on over 20 years corporate experience spanning the UK, pan-Asian and global media markets.
She has worked for News International in London, for fourteen years. Five of these years were spent running the international advertisement department where her duties included coaching and training a worldwide network of representatives.
She then joined Dow Jones in Singapore to spearhead the re-launch of the Far Eastern Economic Review.
Ms Keane now runs her own training, facilitation and coaching business, which focuses on effective business communication, (oral and written) cross-cultural training and executive coaching.
Ms Keane is accredited to administer the Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator and holds a Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring from The Oxford School of Coaching & Mentoring (UK). She is also a member of The Singapore Institute of Management and The Institute of Advertising Singapore.
Ms Keane will give us a lecture about Business communication in China. She will give us an explanation of the basic principles of good communication and in addition she will give us some examples to get an insight into how it works in China.
The lecture will take about 45 minutes, followed by Q & A and some social networking with a glass of wine in our courtyard.
