The Beijing Children's Art Theater Cooperative is directing a large-scale fairy-tale drama to promote the five mascots of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Entitled Fuwa, the drama is set to be staged at Seven Color Light Theatre from August 10th.

As the official mascots of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Fuwa (the Five Friendlies) carried a message of friendship and peace. This drama tells a fairy tale of the Five Friendlies who fight against monsters to bring peace to the world. The show will utilize many dazzling stunts, most notably acrobatics. The difficulty of the acrobatic performances is said to reveal the spirit of Olympic competition.
