WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION Many people have the idea of becoming a freelance writer. This two-part seminar with writer Alan Paul will help you learn how to achieve this elusive but reachable goal. Alan will help you learn how to pick a topic, find your voice, write a story and then sell it, focusing on the three primary English-language magazines in Beijing. Whatever your own experience, he will help you to move towards the goal of writing and selling a magazine article.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND Anybody interested in freelance writing. It does not matter if you have previous experience or not in this area.
