If I could be a DJ, I would be DJ Jiffy Pop. Yes, that's right. When I was a wee one growing up on the East Coast, my friends and I thought we were the shit tagging bridges and signs. We were actually just a bunch of bored girls thinking we were pretty tough. I came up with my tag name 'Jiffy Pop' because I was full of energy and had a bit of a bounce all the time. 'Jiffy Pop' is also the name of the homemade popcorn that you could make on the oven that made lots of noise. Thinking back, I was pretty ridiculous thinking that a popcorn name was cool, but it has always been special to me! A way to remember those good old days of smelly markers, spray cans and best friends.

dj VanDalisM..... Despite i sometimes use turntables, I'm not a dj. Good friends are. One of them, dj vandal, is the purest (with dj madkid, who is an underground vinyl discoverer). He's been dropping raw shit at our skate contests since years, motivating the troops like no one else. He's an active dog, got quick and precise fingers, and, most important, is cool. He's the dj of Sick Swan, an independent production label based in vevey, switzerland. They're dropping really good things there, and vandal is a big part of these good things. He's been invited to a new year's party in SH last year, and will come earthquaking chinese dancefloors in 2008 again. Be prepared ! So, for the question, dj vandalism... cos after hearing vandal, you definitely turn to vandalism +_+ After having seen Wu tang in Montreux this summer, I'm looking very forward for this show. I've just seen the poster outside your place yesterday, c'est bon ça les gars !!! And Jiffy pop, let's go hit some walls one day :)

I would go with dj trek. on the tables it's my goal to take the crowd on more of an adventure then a tour. my favorite djs have the ability to turn great music into an amazing experience. i like to connect w/ the listeners and together through the flow, cuts and scratches go on an unforgettably club trek . in life, like music i love to adventure and experience new things, as well as enjoy the parts i already cherish. for me music follows a similar path in that as much as i like listening to my favorite records, i always appreciate a new track and then finding synergy and for old and the new on the tables.

Hmm, got a suggestion here (if anyone's still paying attention): in the future, when detailing this type of (very cool and appreciated) giveaway contest, please post the time and date by which would-be ticket-winners must post entries for consideration. =P
I was totally logging on here to win this isht after jotting some notes in my li'l moleskine taxi companion this afternoon. As the only person in Beijing whose wall sports a framed poster from the SF Bay Area premiere of Wave Twisters, and as a person who regularly gifts Chinese-subtitled copies of that DVD to others, I'm borderline- heartbroken to see that I'm too late to take a shot here.
My post was gonna be rich on detail and feeling and Shiggar Fraggar sentiment, and a cursory googling shows the DJ name I was gonna pitch as being previously un-used to date. So, like: waaaaaaaah.
Still, DJ Jiffy-Pop comes across as a worthy winner in any event... Congratulations, and ENJOY THE SHOW!
