WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION Many people have the idea of becoming a freelance writer. This two-part seminar with writer Alan Paul will help you learn how to achieve this elusive but reachable goal. Alan will help you learn how to pick a topic, find your voice, write a story and then sell it, focusing on the three primary English-language magazines in Beijing.

METHODOLOGY The seminar will explain how magazine editors think, helping you focus your writing to make it more saleable. It will also focus on the art of writing in order to help you write with clarity and confidence.
